“I think the reason I liked acting in the beginning was because I was a bit awkward as a kid and it was a relief, a release of emotion that I kept bottled up inside of me..you can bring out other parts of your personality and shelve the issues in your everyday life. And so for me, it’s sort of like therapy. I kind of need it in my life and I enjoy it. I think fashion, in a sense, is much the same. You can put on clothes and be who you want to be, a character; it’s like dress-ups.”
